Corrosion and Materials Engineer

Our client is currently expanding their production and exports capability and, right now, they need an outstanding professional to help them maintain and assure our operational excellence.
You’ll manage and advance the technical integrity of assets in line with regulations and give specialist corrosion management and materials selection advice to major projects, operations and functions. Working at a senior level within Safety & Operational Risk, as part of our central team in Baku, you’ll be deployed to assist on any corrosion-related issues within the AGT region and ensure best practice is always upheld.
Along with significant experience in the oil and gas industry, you must be professionally qualified, e.g., Chartered or PE, and degree qualified in metallurgy, materials science, chemistry or an equivalent relevant subject. Experience in onshore and offshore operational corrosion and materials engineering is essential, as is an in-depth understanding of international standards and their application. Recognition by peers in the corrosion and materials community is also required.
