Safety Manager, with minimum of a Bachelors Level Degree, previous African employment and 10 years' experience in the oil and gas industry, required for a Petrochemical Project in Nigeria.
Minimum 10 years experience in the oil and gas or similar process industry.
Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) experience on large projects.
Experience in coordinating with IK HSE organizations.
Capable of leading the site risk assessment study and generating the Process Safety Management program for the project.
Nebosh of other HSE Qualifications essential.
Preparing HSE plan for grassroots refinery projects.
Coordinating with IK HSE organizations.
Leading the site risk assessment study and generating the Process Safety Management program for the project.
Monitor, assist and carry-out project safety program.
Support and assist construction management.
Review, assist and monitor contractor training and inspection programs.
Review all discipline work method statements to insure that safety is incorporated and compliant.
Monitor TSTI and TSTO programs.
Organize, monitor and facilitate project safety meetings.
Contribute to daily, weekly and monthly reporting; monitor contractor reporting.
