The role of Associate Director within the Cost Management group is a leadership position, with general responsibilities for managing other cost management professionals as part of overall project teams, while delivering successful solutions for clients. Additionally, the Associate Director position is expected to support the management direction and leadership set forth for the Cost Management group and accountable for key client relationships and other business development related activity.
This position will also provide leadership and direction to the commercial/cost management teams on projects of significant scale and complexity including planning and implementation of the cost management functions, such as, but not limited to: cost planning, estimating, benchmarking, cost control, and cost reporting.
A Bachelor's degree in Cost Management and/or Quantity Surveying, with an emphasis on the cost and commercial aspects of delivering projects, or equivalent knowledge and experience is a must accompanied with a minimum of 8 to 10 years' of total experience and 2-4 years as an Associate Director or Director in delivering cost management and cost planning.
Experience of leading cost management endeavors for a variety of project types and scope up to large scale commissions is required as well.
