Job Description

This position is responsible for the development of the entire marketing mix (product, promotion, people, price & place). Not only is the role of strategic significance, but also responsible for execution of brand initiatives. The role requires a high degree of collaboration with global, regional and local resources to ensure seamless execution. Understanding execution through the value chain is also critical.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree/Diploma in Marketing

• Experience in the following fields is critical:

• Lubricants Experience

• Brand Marketing/Media Experience

• Market Research Experience

• Strategic Planning Experience

• Project Management Experience

• Ability to influence & collaborate also critical

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

Leads the planning, execution & evaluation of Brand activities for AMEP in order to achieve business plan commitments & growth objectives:

• Leads annual Sales & Marketing Planning process for Region

• Leads the Customer Value Proposition development for AMEP

• Leads Market Research projects to provide in depth understanding of market, technology, competitors, customers, consumers & products for Region

• Collaborates with Lubricants Marketing on Global Brand & Sector development for market area

• Collaborates with International Products, Finished Lubricants Sales, Regional Channel Manager & Supply Chain to ensure alignment and seamless execution between Brand, Sales & Channel - regular status meetings with Regional Channel counterpart

• Accountable for annual Integrated Marketing Calendar (IMC) for market area

• Accountable for annual Media Plan recommendation for market area

• Oversee the adaptation, development & production of all Advertising, PR, End Consumer Promotions, POS, Collateral, Product Literature & Sponsorship materials

• Accountable for on time in full (OTIF) execution of all Brand related activities for Market Area

• Accountable for ensuring Volume forecasts for all Brand related activities

• Accountable to Forecast, Track & Review return on A&SP investment (ASP Tracking Tool & Brand Health Metrics) by analyzing Management Operating System (MOS) volume/profitability data

• Leads development of Regional Product Line development for market area

• Assigns resources to Product Line/Packaging projects within market area with varying levels of complexity

• Leads CIP project execution for Region

• Leads value chain integration & collaboration

• Accountable for Compliance with Marketing Management System & Advertising Compliance Process (ACP)

• Accountable for ensuring Legal, Technical & Regional Marketing Manager Creative approval in SharePoint before executing any brand activity

• Executes all brand activities in accordance with brand standards & guidelines

• Manages Brand Marketing Team
